The Practical Test is the final certification exam given by the FAA or an FAA-approved examiner for the issuance of a Aviation Mechanic Certificate. Our owner, Michael Bisek, Designated Mechanic Examiner authorized to perform the General Aircraft Mechanic oral and practical exam, Airframe Mechanic oral and practical exam, and the Powerplant Mechanic oral and practical exam.

All of the practical tests performed by Michael adhere to the Airman Certification Standards (ACS). The ACS books are published by the FAA to establish the standards for practical tests. FAA inspectors and designated examiners shall conduct practical tests in compliance with these standards. Applicants should find these standards helpful during training and when preparing for the practical test.
