Designated Pilot Examiner/ Designated Mechanic Examiner

The Practical Test is the final certification exam given by the FAA, or an FAA approved examiner, for the issuance of a Pilot Certificate or Aviation Mechanic Certificate.

Michael Bisek is a Designated Pilot Examiner authorized to perform the oral and practical exam for private, commercial and flight instructor helicopter ratings.

Michael Bisek is also a Designated Mechanic Examiner authorized to perform the General Aircraft Mechanic oral and practical exam, Airframe Mechanic oral and practical exam, and the Powerplant Mechanic oral and practical exam

All of the practical tests performed by Michael adhere to the Practical Test Standards. The Practical Test Standards (PTS) books are published by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to establish the standards for practical tests. FAA inspectors and designated examiners shall conduct practical tests in compliance with these standards. Applicants should find these standards helpful during training and when preparing for the practical test.
